Many times in life when we set out to achieve a goal or get a result, we often start checking who we know that can help us.

Often, when we don’t know anybody, we decline in our pursuit and look at life with utter hopelessness. But that should not be!

You see, human beings are powerful in the scheme of life. They are agents of God for delivering his blessings to you.

Humans can’t do without God and there is a limit to what God can do on this earth without humans.

For instance, the Israelites needed God to deliver them from a cruel king; but God needed Mosses as an instrument for executing the deliverance.

So, I understand that human beings are powerful in life and the people you have can change your status quickly.

However, I dare say that the people you lack are not limit to how high you can fly in life!

You know why?

The humans you lack are not your limitations to who you can become. Your limitation is tied to your ability to do your part well and conduct your life in a banner that God will be pleased with you and extend his blessings to you.

Joseph had nobody in Egypt but rose from being a mere slave to the number two citizen! He did his job so well, he was promoted by his first employer. He demonstrated ability to get a job done and was given an instant appointment in Egypt’s Federal Government.

Daniel was a captive in Babylon; but he rose to become an influential man despite opposition from his colleagues at work. He did his own part by demonstrating competence in the discharge of his duties. He defended him and gave him favours.

In our contemporary world, there are countless cases of people who knew nobody but demonstrated faithfulness and competence in their work and God extended his helping hand to them through people they never knew!

Please take your focus off people and Look unto God!

David, a man that walked with God and did exploits with Him advisees us:

“Don’t put your confidence in powerful people; there is no help for you there. But joyful are those who have the God of Isreal as their helper…He made heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them. He keeps every promise forever.” Psa. 146:3-5 NLT.

God is All-powerful! He can transform your life in a twinkle of an eye. He is not limited by the people you don’t know or have. The heart of the king is in His hands, He can turn them to do you any good at anytime!

My point?

Forget the MANY of people you don’t know. Focus on the ONE Almighty God you know. He will connect you to EVERYBODY you need to know at the right time.

Next Sunday on ScripturalSense, I will help you see that the people you have are not guarantee for any great result and the danger of looking unto man for help.

Please join me and do well to share this with someone. It maybe what a friend needs to live his life to the fullest.
